How we write the guides and articles on hyrja.al
Who writes them?
The guides and articles are written by Galip Sulaj, the founder of hyrja.al, or by the hyrja.al team, and every article shows who wrote it.
Where do the facts come from?
We start from the questions buyers, owners and Albanians abroad ask us. Every rule, fee or deadline is checked against the primary source and cited with a link. When no official source exists (for example for rents or utility costs), we say so and show where the figure comes from. The primary sources we use most:
- Official Gazette (qbz.gov.al): laws, Council of Ministers decisions and instructions, in their official text
- ASHK (State Cadastre Agency): property registration, fees and the official reference prices
- Bank of Albania: the official exchange rate, interest rates and lending statistics
- INSTAT: official statistics on construction, housing and population
How do we use AI tools?
We use AI tools to prepare drafts. No draft is published as it is: an editor checks every figure, date and source against the original, rewrites whatever doesn't hold up and decides when the article is ready. We are responsible for what we publish, not the tool.
Publication and update dates
Every article shows the date it was published. When we change its content after publication, we also show the update date, and guides show when they were last reviewed. Laws, fees and prices change, so we review a guide when an official source it cites changes.
How do we correct mistakes?
If you find a mistake, write to us from the contact page and include the article's link. We check it against the source and, if you are right, correct it as soon as possible and update the date. When a correction changes something you may have relied on (a figure, a fee or a deadline), we note it at the end of the article.

Market prices and figures
When an article quotes prices from listings on hyrja.al, they are asking prices, not sale prices, calculated with the same method as the market pages. Official reference prices are shown separately, as official values.
