Gjirokastra: the city and its property market
Gjirokastra is a UNESCO-listed stone town on the slopes of the Drino valley in the south, dominated by its castle and known for its fortified tower houses with stone roofs. It is the birthplace of the writer Ismail Kadare and home to Eqrem Çabej University.
